Helping you
desex & microchip your animals

We offer Snip 'n' Chip and other discounted desexing vouchers across Aotearoa New Zealand at different times of the year.

Desexing and microchipping are key ways to improve animal welfare in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Desexing reduces the number of unwanted litters, improves welfare for these animals, and positively impacts the environment. Microchipping is a great way to help owners be reunited with their lost pets.

This website includes helpful resources for you to view and download, including some in different languages.

You can also click hereto see questions and answers about desexing, including advice on what to do if Snip ‘n’ Chip is not in your area.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of the thousands of unwanted cats born each year.

Thank you so much to our participating vet clinics for helping us make this important campaign possible.

For voucher Terms and Conditions please click here.

Please remember: This is campaign is for cats only. A limited number of vouchers are available to help those who require financial assistance. Please, only get a voucher if you need one and intend to use it. In the past, we have noticed some vouchers were never used, or bookings were made with vet clinics and never attended. When this happens, it prevents someone else from using the voucher who might really need it.
