SPCA Desexing Grant

SPCA Desexing Grant exists to reduce the number of unwanted animals born in New Zealand by supporting rescue groups and those working in the community with funding for desexing projects. By working together, we can prevent unplanned litters, reduce pressure on shelters and rescues, and improve animal welfare across Aotearoa.

Applications for our 2026 Desexing Grant are now open!
Closing date: 31 May 2026

SPCA Desexing Grant is only open to rescue organisations, groups or those working in the community. If you are an individual looking to desex your own animal (or one belonging to a friend or family member), please see our current campaigns on the homepage or take a look at our Desexing FAQs for more information.
